Hitachi's Tempura is wrapped! It was a lot of fun putting together all of the Japanese costumes. We ended up renting a bunch of things from Occidental and purchasing a lot from Japan online. The results turned out pretty well! I'll post photos after it is finished in December, but for now, here's a photo of our geisha character from the fitting. She's supposed to be pretty gaudy, and I think that definitely comes across!
Next up, Molly Sweeney will start in the next few weeks. I've been researching rural Ireland, and blindness.
